Brian and his family were a great blessing to me and I believe also to our church. They are down to earth folk with a heart for God and his word. I think we’ll have them back!

After some 200,000 miles it was limited to 2nd and reverse. The decision was made not to put any more money into a vehicle with that many miles.
The Lord’s people responded with numerous offers to allow us to use one of their vehicles until we could get another.
Within two weeks, the Lord put it on the heart of one of his people to give us this 2001 Ford F-150. Another brother did a little mechanical work on it and we are greatly rejoicing in the Lord’s provision.

The food was great and we had a wonderful time fellowshipping. A baby flying squirrel even showed up for the festivities.
Paul beat me in horseshoes. Isn’t the host supposed to automatically lose to his guests?
Is was good to see Paul’s brother and sister-in-law stop by and of course young prince William! We continue to pray for their salvation.
Somehow, I got stuck babysitting Lily’s blow-up monkey she got at the Bristol parade in the morning with Grandpa Al. I must have missed that chapter in the Pastor’s Manual!

They serve as reminders to the liberty that was once so greatly treasured among Americans.
Alas, I fear our countrymen no longer possess the salt to maintain that liberty and it is eroding quickly.
But I am most grateful for the liberty of Christ that makes a man free no matter what his outward condition. A liberty that allows a man to be the prisoner of the Lord Jesus Christ. I would that many of our brothers and sisters in Christ would be captivated by Him.
